Placement Test

1. When can the applicants take the placement test?

The placement test is administered every Thursday from 9:00 to 17:00 in all branches.

2. How can I register for the placement test?

Applicants can register for the placement test either in-person or register through the online registration system.

 

3. Is it possible for the applicants to choose the date and time of the placement test?

Yes. It is possible to choose the date and time of the placement test via the online registration system.

5. Is there any need to study a specific source before taking the placement test?

No, there is no need to study any specific source. In fact, the purpose of this test is to assess the participants’ real level of proficiency in English language and to provide them with the best educational recommendations.

 

6. Are the results of the placement test announced immediately after the test?

Yes. The participants will be immediately informed of their results after the test.

7. Do I need to take the placement test even if I want to start form beginner level?

Yes. All applicants are required to take the placement test since there are two beginner levels in Iran-Australia. An appropriate course will then be offered to participants based on the results of the placement test.

 

8. Is there any need to take the test even if I had studied English at other institutes previously?

Yes. All applicants trying to enter Iran-Australia must take the placement test. This is actually due to the difference between this institute and other institutes in terms of curriculum.

 

9. How long is the result of the placement valid?

The results of the placement test stay valid for two terms, which equals to three months.

 

10. Is it possible to receive a certificate after the placement test?

Yes. Iran-Australia is the only English language center that provides those who take the placement test with valid certificates.

 

11. What makes Iran-Australia’s placement test different from other institutes?

12. Do I have to bring an ID when visiting the institute to take the placement test?

Yes. Bringing an identification card is a must. It is worth mentioning that organizations’ personnel need to bring a letter of introduction from their organization which is in partnership with Iran-Australia in addition to their identification card.
